اين بخش جديد كه با عنوان Google Code Search معرفي شده است جهت استفاده برنامه نويسان حرفه اي ، توسعه دهندگان و علاقه منداني كه به دنبال نمونه كدهاي مختلف هستند طراحي شده است.
در حال حاضر با استفاده از بخش عمومي موتور جستجوي گوگل تنها دستيابي به لينك پرونده هايي كه حاوي سورسكدها هستند امكان پذير است و ضعف اصلي اين روش آن است كه محل دقيقي از كد مورد نظر - در پرونده دريافت شده - مشخص نمي شود. در چنين حالتي توسعه دهندگان مي بايست پس از دريافت پرونده مورد نظر ، به جستجو به دنبال تكه كد مورد نظر خود بپردازند.
بخش ياد شده به نحوي طراحي شده است كه امكان نمايش تكه كد مورد نظر را بدون دريافت پرونده اصلي فراهم مي كند.
لازم به ذكر است متاسفانه اين بخش از خدمات وب سايت گوگل نيز براي استفاده كاربران ايراني بسته شده است.
